Under support of International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC), Vietnam Engineering Consultant Association held 02 training courses on “FIDIC contract – EPC/ Turnkey Project”. Ha Noi training course was held at National Convention Centre from 06/9/2016 to 07/9/2016 and Ho Chi Minh training course was held at SaiGon Prince hotel from 09/9/2016 to 10/9/2016.

There were about 100 trainees participated into the courses; they were representatives of consultant enterprises, contractors, clients, law enterprises from Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh and some other provinces. Participants also included some experts from Ministry of Construction and Ministry of Planning and Investment.

Finishing the training courses, participants received certificate for completion of training courses issued by FIDIC and Vietnam EngineeringConsultant Association.

These are the first training courses that were held by the Vietnam EngineeringConsultant Association, complying with stipulated plan of FIDIC and presented by FIDIC international lecturers.Participating into the training course, trainees were supplied with Silver Book translated and published by the Association in Vietnam under FIDIC’s permission. In the near time, Vietnam Engineering Consultant Association shall continue completing, translating and publishing new contract samples as well holding training courses in Vietnam in order to help parties, who involve in contract and manage contract, to improve their knowledge of FIDIC contracts.
