Science and Technology Tasks “Research and analyze regulations on construction practice management for individuals of some ASEAN countries, focusing on continuous professional development, certification agencies. practicing only. Proposal of regulations in Vietnam ”implemented by Vietnam Engineering Consultant Association which was checked and accepted by the Council of Science and Technology – Ministry of Construction on January 8, 2020.

Commenting on the task, the Council members and reviewers evaluated the research results of the task that reflected the domestic situation of the continuous and synchronized development of human resource training. operating in the field of construction, the provisions of law related to the evaluation of competence and professional experience in the practice of granting construction practice certificates of individuals as well as the management of granting certificates practicing in Vietnam through stages. The research results have analyzed, evaluated and presented the common points and differences of ASEAN countries to serve as a basis for reference and proposing regulations for Vietnam, in accordance with general regulations in area. Thereby, the research team to perform the task has made a number of proposals and proposals to the Ministry of Construction and the competent authorities on the continued research, development, amendment and supplementation of regulations. on professional management and continuous professional development in order to enhance and maintain the capacity of individuals in construction activities, implementing the Mutual Recognition Agreement on technical services in ASEAN.

The Council also contributes a number of ideas that need to be completed to avoid duplication, to supplement some contents, and to clarify the uniformity of regulations on continuous professional development in the Law on Architecture to be effective for implementation. from July 2020.

President of Acceptance Council, PhD. Hoang Quang Nhu said that the evaluation of the results of the task and the recommendations of the research team will be the basis for the state management agency to refer to in the process of drafting policies to approach the region, and at the same time, improve the management practice of construction activities of domestic individuals and foreign individuals practicing construction activities in Vietnam and request the research team to receive the Council’s opinions to complete the tasks. .
