On the afternoon of September 21, 2018, the Standing Committee of VietNam Engineering Consultion Association  held their first meeting in 2018 at the VECAS’s office in City Intellectial Palace. Standing Committee members, Mr. Nguyen Doan Thang (Member of the Steering Committee, General Director of RANG DONG LIGHT SOURCE & VACUUM FLASK JOINT STOCK COMPANY), chaired by President Nguyen Thi Duyen.

The meeting heard and discussed the report on the activities of the first 9 months and the program of operation in the last months of 2018 of the Association, presented by Vice President Nguyen Du Tien.

Steering Committee Members agreed with the report, appreciating the activities of the VECAS in 2018 on the activities of member development; actively and actively participate in making suggestions on legal policies; organize FIDIC model training courses, professional seminars; To carry out Ministerial-level scientific and technological tasks; To organize the consideration and grant of practice certificates of grades II and III to
individual of the Member Firms; the foreign affairs of the VECAS; the reward of the VECAS … The conference also stated that the VECAS should organize more frequent exchanges between member Firms in the coming time.

The meeting discussed and commented on the list of members of the Regional Representatives Committee; salary payment methods for the office staff of the VECAS; Regulations on the VECAS 2019 Award; Adopt 02 new member units ..

The unanimous conference will hold the second Steering Committee Meeting in 2018 on December 13        , 2018 on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of the founding of the VECAS.
