Executive Committee Meeting of Viet Nam Engineering Consultant Association – Term V – Session 3

In the afternoon date 02/3/2017, Executive Committee – Term V (2015 – 2020) of Viet Nam Engineering Consultant Association held 3rd meeting at La Thanh hotel to evaluate activities of the Association in 2016 and approve activity plan of the Association in 2017.

Mrs. Nguyen ThiDuyen, Vecas President was chairwoman of the meeting with participation of members of the Executive Committee.

On behalf of Vecas’ Leaders, Mr. Hoang UngHuyen – Vice President cum General Secretary reported about activities performed by the Association in 2016 and activity plan in 2017 as well proposed some recommendations for comments and consideration from the Executive Committee. On behalf of Inspection Committee, Mr. Bui DuyNghia – Head of Inspection Committee reported about inspection results of activities and expenditure/ revenue of Vecas in 2016.

Members of the Executive Committee listened to report about Vecas’ activities and report about Vecas’ expenditure/ revenue in 2016; report about rewards and emulation for organizations and individuals in 2016, decision on rewards for Members, who has participated and contributed to development of Vecas for more than 10 years. The Association voted for amendment to and replacement of members of Executive Committee, Steering Committee and Inspection Committee as well agreed to establishment of VECAS Young Professional Engineers. Participants also listened to comments on some Vecas’ activities from members of Executive Committee in order to provide better supports for Members.

After discussion, Executive Committee Meeting agreed to and approved reports about activities in 2016 and Vecas’ activity plan in 2017; reports on expenditures/ revenue in 2016 and expenditures/ revenue plan in 2017, agreed to amendment and replacement for Executive Committee, Steering Committee, Inspection Committee as well agreed proposal on amendment of regulations on rewards and emulation of Vecas; approved establishment of Vecas Young Professional Engineers Committee.

At the end of the meeting, Mrs. Nguyen ThiDuyen – President, on behalf of Vecas Leaders, summarized contents discussed in the Meeting, agreed to Resolution of Executive Meeting – Term V – Session 3.

VECAS Members Meeting 2017

After Executive Committee Meeting, Vecas organized Members Meeting 2017 chaired Mrs. Nguyen ThiDuyen – President. Participants included representatives of Vecas Members over the countries.

At the Meeting, Mr. Hoang UngHuyen – Vice President cum General Secretary summarized activities performed by Vecas in 2016 and Vecas’ activity plan in 2017, reported to Members Meeting about contents, which had been commented, agreed in Executive Committee Meeting.

In the Meeting, Vecas presented Certificate of Merit and Commendation to individuals of Member with excellent achievement in 2016 and Members, who has been participating into and contributing to Vecas for more than 10 years, according to Resolution of Steering Committee.

At the same time, Vecas also presented Member Certificate to newly affiliated Members.

After that, there are Gala dinner, art performance with singers of Vecas and others.

Members Meeting showed united and friendly relations of Members and invited guests.

Vecas Delegates visited National Assembly House

In event of Executive Committee Meeting – Term V – Session 3 and Members Meeting 2017 of Vecas in Ha Noi, in morning date 02/3/2017, under support of National Assembly Office, Vecas conducted visit to National Assebly House so that consultant Members could get additionally practical information about design, construction and finishing works of National Assembly House.

Participants included approximately 100 delegates from Members. Delegate team visited functional areas of the building and archeological exhibition in basement of National Assembly House.

At the end of the visit, Vecas’ Delegate team took memorial photos at the Building.
