In the evening of September 14, 2021, at an online virtual ceremony, FIDIC announced awards for high-quality construction and infrastructure projects carried out by member firms of FIDIC’ Members Association from around the world.

The award honors outstanding projects in which FIDIC member companies had a major involvement and their contribution to technical advice, the contribution they make to people’s quality of life and encourage others to understand and support FIDIC principles.

Chairman of the Jury, Mr. Alain Bentejac (President of FIDIC for the 2017 – 2019 term) decided to recognize 22 projects with the following awards:

– 14 Awards of Merit;

– 7 Excellence Awards;

– 1 Excellent Project of the Year.

The Hoang Van Thu Bridge, part of the Technical Infrastructure Development Project for the North Cam River New Urban Area designed by the Transport Engineering Design Incorporation (TEDI) has the FIDIC Award of Merit. This is also the third time in a row that the project has been designed by TEDI awarded by FIDIC for the Year.
