On the afternoon of November 9, 2024, the Vietnam Engineering Consultant Association awarded the Certificate of Completion of the course to participants in the training course “Overview and Principles for Effective Application of FIDIC Contract; Typical provisions according to the FIDIC 2017 Red Book, Yellow Book ” in Ho Chi Minh City.

The 2-day course includes an overview of the development process, structure, main characteristics of FIDIC Contract forms, principles of effective application, and focuses on the Clauses in the General Conditions of Construction Contract (Red Book 2017, revised 2022) and the Conditions of Contract for Plant & Design – Built (Yellow Book 2017, revised 2022), dispute prevention/adjudication mechanism, FIDIC’s guidance when drafting Particular Conditions… In the course, the contents of regulations on EPC contracts, construction quality management, settlement of construction contract disputes… according to the provisions of Vietnamese law are always noted by the Trainer for differences with FIDIC Contracts, which need to be considered when applying appropriately.
