As part of the collaboration on Green Building Design training between the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Vietnam Association of Construction Consultants (VECAS), a dedicated training course for a group of VECAS lecturers was organized by IFC and took place from March 27–28, 2025, in Hanoi. Twelve (12) VECAS experts completed the course and are now qualified to become instructors for VECAS training programs in Vietnam under the partnership with IFC on green buildings, using the EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies) certification system.

According to IFC, VECAS is the first professional social organization in Vietnam to be authorized by IFC to conduct EDGE-related training courses for qualified individuals.
