On the afternoon of January 23, 2024, the GAM Annual Conference of the ASEAN Association of Consulting Engineers (FACE) took place in INKINDO’s Office, Jakarta, Indonesia with all official member associations: Indonesian National Association of Consultants ( INKINDO), Consulting Engineers Association of Thailand (CEAT), Association of Consulting Engineers Malaysia (ACEM), Council of Engineering Consultants of the Philippines (CECOPHIL), Vietnam Engineering Consultant Association (VECAS), Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ASES) and Myanmar International Consulting Engineers Group Incorporated ( (MICEG). The GAM approved many programs and work plans, ratification of FACE President term of 2024-2025 and election of FACE Vice President according to the FACE’ Charter. Mr. Chuck Kho, President of the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ASES), was promoted to the position of President of FACE for the 2024-2025 term.

The morning on the same day, the delegation of the FACE visited and was welcomed by H.E. Satvinder Singh, Deputy Secretary General of the ASEAN Economic Community, and discussed activities, proposals of the delegation to the ASEAN Secretariat. At this time, President of the VECAS Nguyen Thi Duyen proposed that the ASEAN Secretariat create conditions for association organizations named in the ASEAN Charter (such as FACE) to attend the Meeting of the Coordinating Committee on Services (CCS), to promote cooperation in developing the technical consulting industry in ASEAN.
