The Executive Committee of the VECAS held the 6th Executive Committee Meeting, term V (2015 – 2020) at REED Hotel – Ninh Binh on June 19, 2020, with the participation of Executive Committee Members, VECAS’s Member Leaders. This is the last meeting of the term, approving many contents preparing for the Congress of the term 2020-2025 .

The Executive Committee meeting evaluated activities in 2019 and the 5-year term of the V with remarkable achievements, such as building and developing members, organizing training courses on FIDIC contracts, issueing  construction practice certificates of grade 2 and grade 3 to individuals, contributing to building legal policies, international cooperation, organizing the translation, publication of FIDIC contracts to Vietnamese (bilingual Vietnamese – English in Vietnam)… This is a collective efforts of the Executive Board members standing Execitive Members, Vecas Members and the support from the relevant authorities.

The Conference approved the Reports, including the Report on revenue and expenditure in 2019 and the VECAS’s 2020 action plan, revenue and expenditure plan; approved the preparations Plan for the Congress 2020-2025 term, (to be held in October 2020). The draft of the five-year action report for the V term (2015-2020; orientation for the VI term (2020 – 2025) and the Project on personnel plan of the VI Congress was discussed enthusiastically by the Executive Board members with the highest agreement level. This will be the  basis for submitting to the State relevant Authorities for approval and organizing the Congress.

At the same time, the Association Executive Board and attendees were provided by Mr. Bui Van Duong, Deputy Director of construction activity Management Department – Ministry of Construction with the update of main points being amended and supplemented of Contruction Laws, having been voted by the 9th session of National Assembly XIV on June 17, 2020.
