Along with seminar events, Members’ Conference, on the morning of March 30, 2019, at the Villas – National Convention Center, the Executive Board of the Vietnam Engineering Consultion Association held the 5th meeting to assess the Association’s activities carried out in 2018 and discuss and approve the operation plan of the Association in 2019. This is the last pre-meeting of the Executive Committee Term V (2015-2020).

Attending the Meeting were the President and Vice – Presidents of the Association, members of the Executive Committee and invited representatives. The conference was chaired by President Nguyen Thi Duyen.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Association, Mr. Hoang Ung Huyen, Vice President / General Secretary reported the activities of the Association implemented in 2018 and expected the operation plan of the Association in 2019, proposed a number of contents to consult the Executive Committee. On behalf of the Association’s Inspection Committee, Mr. Dang Xuan Thuy – General Director of Railway Consultion & Investement Consultant Joint Stock Company, reported the inspection results on the activities and financial situation of the Association in 2018.

After listening to the Association’s Activities Report in 2018, the 2018 revenue and expenditure report, the report of the Inspection Committee on the Association’s activities and revenues in 2018, the tentative work plan report. in 2019 and the 2019 revenue and expenditure plan report, the Executive Committee members discussed enthusiastically, responsibly, and positively evaluated the Association’s activities, highly appreciated the results of activities at many areas: consolidating and developing new members; successfully organized many Seminars; training courses on FIDIC contract forms, fostering knowledge of bidding and professional operations; organization of issuing certificates of class II, III for individuals belonging to the Association; implementing
scientific and technological research duties – Ministry level ; international cooperation; contribute to the development of legal policies; Emulation and Reward; organized VECAS AWARD 2018 …

The meeting agreed to agree on unanimous approval of the 2018 Activity Report, 2018 revenue and expenditure report; approved the 2019 operation plan and the 2019 revenue and expenditure plan of the Association as well as some recommendations of the Standing Committee.

At the end of the meeting, President of the Association Nguyen Thi Duyen synthesized the contents discussed at the Meeting, passed the Resolution of the Executive Committee Meeting of the 5th term V-session.
