Implementing the annual working program, the Meeting of Standing Committee of Vietnam Engineering Consultant Association (expanded) was held on the morning of August 23, 2019 at Green Plaza Hotel – Da Nang City. The meeting was pleased to welcome Mr. Bui Van Duong, Deputy Director of construction activity Management Department – Ministry of Construction to attend and discuss on the content of the Draft Amending and supplementing a number of Articles of the Construction Law. Delegates attending the Standing Committee Meeting (expanded) listened, commented and agreed through the operation report for the first 8 months of 2019, the program operated in the last months of 2019 of the Association.
The report of the Standing Association presented by Vice Chairman Nguyen Du Tien synthesized and analyzed key activities in the first months of the year in the areas of: building and developing new members; comment on building legal policies; training FIDIC contract form, fostering professional knowledge; examining and issuance of construction practice certificates for individuals; implementing ministerial-level scientific and technological tasks; organize the translation and publication of Vietnamese-English Bilingual FIDIC contract forms; organizing conferences of Executive Board and Membership Conference in 2019; organizing the announcement, awarding the design quality award “VECAS AWARD 2019”; scientific conferences, BIM …
After the discussion, through the report of the Association’s activities, the delegates heard Mr. Bui Van Duong, Deputy Director of construction activity Management Department – Ministry of Construction exchanging some contents of the draft amendments, additional articles of the Construction Law submitted to the National Assembly for examination and comment.
The Standing Committee Meeting (expanded) in Da Nang with the participation of members of the Standing Committee, Leaders of Member firms in regions across the country such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da City Nang, Hue city, Hai Phong city, provinces: Ben Tre, Vinh Long, KhanhHoa, Kon Tum, Dak Lak, Son La, Lang Son, Thai Nguyen and Thai Binh … This is also an opportunity to meet and exchange , sharing experiences in production and business activities between Association Members. After the meeting, some delegates took the time to visit Ba Na Hill, Da Nang’s famous and famous tourist area.
