Implementing annual action plan, 2nd Meeting of Steering Committee – 2017 was hold in the time of 22nd year anniversary of VECAS (13/12/1995 – 13/12/2017) with participation of members of the Steering Committee, which was chaired by Mrs. Nguyen Thi Duyen – President.
Participants gave comments and recommendations for Reports about activities of VECAS in 2017, which presented by Mr. Hoang Ung Huyen – General Secretary. Participants agreed about appreciation for activities of VECAS, which were diverse, practical and effective, pursuant to Resolution of Executive Committee, Steering Committee, adherent to activities of Members, sufficient and responsible participation into establishment and enhancement of mechanism and policies chaired by Ministry of Construction and Ministry of Plan and Investment … Highlight activities in 2017 includes comments for establishment of legal documents in construction and procurement sectors; issuance of construction practicing certificates class II and III for individuals of VECAS; implement of Science and Technology research; organizing training courses on FIDIC Model Agreements 2017, training course on procurements; interpreting and coordinating for publishing FIDIC Agreements; organizing international seminars …
In 2017, the Association continue performing its responsibilities and improve its situation as member of international Federations: FIDIC, ASPAC, FACE. In addition, the Association also expands cooperation with other international partners.
Meeting of Steering Committee also agreed to some annual plan and recommendations of Standing Committee; then reports at Steering Committee in March 2018.
