On the morning of January 15, 2025, the Vietnam Engineering Consultant Association (VECAS) coordinated with the Construction Activities Management Agency- Ministry of Construction to disseminate Decree 175/2024/ND-CP of the Government issued on December 30, 2024 detailing a number of articles and measures to implement the Construction Law on construction management. The conference took place online with nearly 1,000 participants nationwide, most of whom were construction consulting firms that are Members of the VECAS.

Representatives of the Construction Activities Management Agency, Director Hoang Anh Tuan, Deputy Director Bui Van Duong and experts directly involved in the drafting of the Decree attended and directly disseminated the content of the Decree. According to Mr. Bui Van Duong, this is the first popular conference held nationwide after the Decree was issued.

The Decree details and measures for implementing the Construction Law with a wide scope of regulation covering many fields and subjects participating in construction activities in order to institutionalize the Party and State’s policies in promoting decentralization; enhancing digital transformation, applying information technology and simplifying administrative procedures in construction investment activities; amending conflicting and overlapping regulations; ensuring the consistency and synchronization of the legal system.

The contents of amendments, supplements and differences compared to previous legal regulations were presented in detail, clearly and focusedly by the representative of the Department of Construction Management. All questions in the conference were answered, clarified and highly appreciated by the attending delegates. Closing the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Duyen, on behalf of the VECAS respectfully thanked the valuable and timely support of the Construction Activities Management Agency in coordinating with the VECAS to disseminate this important Decree; thanked the delegates for taking the time right before the TET of At Ty 2025 to attend the conference.
