On 03/3/2017, Viet Nam Engineering Consultant Association and Federation of ASEAN Consulting Engineers (FACE) conducted Roundtable discussion on Professional Engineer in ASEAN with participation of FACE Governing Board and Country Members, which include Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam.
FACE is affiliated organization in ASEAN Charter. It is established to promote development of engineering consultancy in ASEAN, to contribute knowledge, expertise and experiences of ASEAN engineers to perform project and social-economic development in ASEAN.
Invited guests of the Roundtable Discussion include presence of 3rd Secretary of Embassy of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic in Viet Nam, Mr. Nguyen Tan Van – President of Viet Nam Architect Association, Mr. Hoang ThoVinh – Chairman of Monitoring Committee for implementing Mutual Recognition Arrangement on engineering services in ASEAN, Mr. Pham KhanhToan – Director of International Cooperation Department – Ministry of Construction.
Delegate team of the Federation of ASEAN Consulting Engineers (FACE) include FACE President cum President of National Association of Indonesian Consultants – Head of the team, President of Association Consulting Engineers Malaysia, President of Council of Engineering Consultant of the Philippines (CECOPHIL), President of Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES), Vice President of Consulting Engineers Association of Thailand (CEAT).
Viet Nam Engineering Consultant Association include the President, Vice President – General Secretary – Mr. Hoang UngHuyen -, Vice Presidents: Mr. Pham PhuBinh, Mr. Nguyen Du Tien, Mr. TuDucHoa, Mr. Nguyen Lap Son and Mrs. Pham ThiBich; Leaders of Association Members, ASEAN chartered professional engineers of the Association.

The FACE Roundtable Discussion on Professional Engineers in ASEAN aims at sharing essential information about regulations of ASEAN countries on foreign consulting individuals and organizations when practicing in these countries. At the same time, it brings opportunities for exchanging and sharing experiences to engineers in consultant field in ASEAN.
In the meeting, Mr. Hoang ThoVinh – President of Monitoring Committee presents Practice Certificate of ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineers to newly registered engineers.

Hội nghị Ban Lãnh đạo Hiệp hội Kỹ sư Tư vấn ASEAN (FACE)
Cùng với việc tổ chức toạ đàm về hành nghề kỹ sư chuyên nghiệp trong ASEAN, chiều ngày 03 tháng 3 năm 2017 tại Trung tâm Hội nghị Quốc gia, Ban Lãnh đạo Hiệp hội Kỹ sư Tư vấn ASEAN (FACE) đã họp tại dưới sự chỉ đạo của Chủ tịch và Tổng Thư ký Hiệp hội Kỹ sư Tư vấn ASEAN.
Hội nghị đã thống nhất thảo luận về chương trình hoạt động của FACE trong thời gian tới nhằm nâng cao vai trò của FACE trong ASEAN.
Sau Hội nghị, đại diện các Hiệp hội đã đến thăm trụ sở làm việc của VECAS tại Cung trí thức thành phố.
