On the occasion of 27 years of establishment (December 13, 1995 – December 13, 2022), the Vietnam Engineering Consultant Association held a Standing Board Meeting (expanded) on the afternoon of December 13, 2022 in Hanoi to identified the main tasks in 2023.

The meeting agreed plan 2023 with the main task: actively contributing to the development of legal policies on construction and bidding, especially participating as a member of the Drafting Committee of the Bidding Law (amended) established by the Ministry of Planning and Investment; issue construction practice certificates to individuals; issue certificates of capacity for construction activities to organizations; examination in service of granting architectural practice certificates; organizing science and technology seminars, disseminating relevant policies, laws and new regulations; foster professional knowledge; FIDIC contract training; focus on international cooperation activities of which VECAS is a member such as FIDIC, Federation of ASEAN Consulting Engineers – FACE; completed the work of organizing the compilation and publication of the Short Form of Contract published by FIDIC in 2021; strengthen the organization of meetings of the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee in the regions, and cooperate with other socio-professional organizations.

The delegates discussed and agreed on the fee level for the consideration and granting of construction capacity certificates for organizations and some other contents. The Association’s Standing Board Meeting is held periodically according to the operating regulations and has proposed many important ideas and orientations for the Association’s activities every year.
