The First meeting, term VI of the Standing Board (President and Vice Presidents) of the Association, was held on December 23, 2020 at the headquarters of the association chaired by President Nguyen Thi Duyen. The Meeting agreed on key activities for the term, assigning duties of the President, Vice Presidents, organizing personnel work, implementing activities of the Board of Young Engineers – Consultants.

After the VI Congress (held in October 2020), the Vietnam Engineering Consultant  Association continues to implement activities according to the resolutions of the congress: organize tests to serve the issuance of construction practice certificates at Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Can Tho; consider granting construction practice certificates to individuals; FIDIC contract model training in the Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi; to contribute to the construction of construction law policies; admission of new members …

Vietnam Engineering Consultant Association participates in Evaluation Council established by Ministry of Justice (MOJ) to appraise the Draft Decrees detailing a number of articles of the Construction Law, replacing or amending. To amend and supplement the current Decrees:  –  Draft Decree on construction material management;  – Draft Decree detailing a number of articles on construction project management (replacing Decree 59/2015/ND-CP; Decree 42/2017/ND-CP; Decree 100/2018 / ND-CP)  – Draft Decree detailing a number of contents on quality management, construction and maintenance of construction Works (replacing Decree 46/2015 / ND-CP)  – Draft Decree regulating construction cost management (replacing Decree 68/2019 / ND-CP)  – Draft Decree amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree 37/2015 / ND-CP dated 22/4/2015 of the Government detailing construction contracts.

The first meeting of the Standing Board of the Vietnam Engineering Consultant Association has concluded many important contents for the activities of term VI and will be reported at the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Association to be held at the end February 2021.
