With the support of FIDIC, Vietnam Engineering Consultant Association held training courses in Hanoi (May 15-16, 2018) and Ho Chi Minh City (May 18-19, 2018). FIDIC Contract Condition: Plant and Design – Build Equipment and Design – Construction (Yellow Books Publishing, 1999 and 2017). This is the contract form recommended by FIDIC for the supply of Electrical / Mechanical Equipment and for the design, construction of works or engineering works.

The Contract for Plant and Design – Build Equipment and Design (Yellow Books) was first published by FIDIC in 1999 and published for the second time in 2017. In 2017, FIDIC also published Second Condition Construction Contract (Red Book), EPC / Turnkey Project Contract (Silver Book).

The training was conducted under FIDIC program, by Mr. Zoltan Zahonyi FIDIC International Accredited Trainer, Chairman of FIDIC Contracts Committee , directly manages the slide documents and lectures. Participants in the course are engineers, lawyers, specialists from inside and outside VECAS, investors, project management boards, economic groups, and houses. Department of Public Procurement- Ministry of Planning and Investment and Construction Economics Department – Ministry of Construction also sent specialists to participate in the training.

At the end of the training, the participants were given a certificate of completion of the training program provided by FIDIC and the Vietnam Engineering Consultant Association.
