On the afternoon of December 2, 2023, the President of the Vietnam Engineering Consultant Association awarded the Certificate of completion of the BIM Manager course (Bim Manager for Project) to participants, who have passed the final exam according to the program in Ho Chi Minh City. This is the 6th course in 2023 on BIM knowledge and the first course on BIM Manager organized by the Vietnam Engineering Consultant Association, Autodesk is the companion, consulting on course content and supply technology solutions.
The main goal of the course is to equip participants with the necessary knowledge to effectively plan and manage the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in construction projects. Specific goals include:
- Overview of basic principles, benefits and challenges when implementing BIM
- Awareness of BIM manager roles and responsibilities in the project
- Understand clearly the goals of applying BIM to the project
- Introduction to the international BIM standard ISO 19650 and instructions for applying BIM according to the Ministry of Construction
- Understanding of working and collaboration protocols for data management across the BIM project lifecycle from design, construction and operations.
- Compile and manage BIM documents, processes, and tools for the project
- Experience from experts from domestic and foreign BIM projects and learn best practices for implementation and execution
With the experience and practical skills as a BIM Manager of the Lectures and the effective support of Autodesk technology, the students have been equipped with additional knowledge and capabilities to contribute to their success of applying BIM and new technology in the construction field.
