During the 2 days of November 2023, (November 27 – November 28, 2023) FIDIC ASIA PACIFIC’s Annual Meeting and International Conference with the theme “Engineering towards Net Zero” organized by the FAP, the hosting by Consuting Engineers Association of Thailand – CEAT was solemnly held in Bangkok. This is the activity of the FIDIC Asia Pacific, including FIDIC members in this region. The VECAS sent Head of the Young Engineers-Consulting Committee Hoang Ngoc Quy to attend on behalf of the VECAS.

“Engineering Towards Net Zero” features a number of speakers specializing in different fields such as energy, construction, rural and urban development, water supply and sanitation. In the words of FAP President: “Engineering towards Net Zero” is very important to help future generations. The world is going through difficult times due to climate change and we engineers should act as “foot soldiers”.

At this event, FAP’s Annual Meeting was held, through a number of key tasks, awarding the 2023 Award and planning to organize the 2024 Conference combined with the Annual Meeting in Nepal. Vietnam Construction Consulting Association (VECAS) is one of 4 member associations awarded “FIDIC ASIA PACIFIC Power House Award” by FAP.
