During 2 days November 19-20, 2024, the Annual Conference and International Conference of FIDIC ASIA PACIFIC with the theme “Governance for Climate Shocks” hosted by the Society of Consulting Architectural & Engineering Firms (SCAEF), Nepal was held. held in Kathmandu, Nepal. This is the activity of the FIDIC Consulting Engineers Association Asia-Pacific Region, including FIDIC members in this region. The Association sent Mr. Hoang Ung Huyen – General Secretary, Vice Chairman of the VECAS and Mr. Nguyen Minh Hoang – Chief of the VECAS Office to attend.

The “Governance for Climate Shocks” conference raised awareness to seek a comprehensive approach to balancing economic growth and sustainable development through governance of climate shocks. The conference also promotes each country’s efforts to shape its own climate change resilience measures, infrastructure, or perhaps any other element of its policy-making process.

At this event, FAP’s Annual Conference was held, through a number of key tasks, awarding the 2024 Award and planning to organize the 2025 Conference combined with the Annual Conference in Bali, Indonesia.
