On the morning of September 3, 2025, the President of the Vietnam Engineering Consultant Association attended the meeting of the Council for appraisal of the Construction Law (replacement) project decided to be established by the Minister of Justice. Deputy Minister of Justice Nguyen Thanh Tu, Chairman of the appraisal Council chaired the meeting. Also attending was Deputy Minister of Construction Bui Xuan Dung.

According to the Ministry of Construction, the Construction Law (replacement) project on the basis of adjusting the scope, application of subjects, program structure, and items of the current Construction Law; the plan inherits the contents that have been regulated and developed stably, proven to be suitable in practice, without any combat reflection. The amended and supplemented contents of the Law project focus on innovating management methods, simplifying simple administrative procedures, and defining the responsibilities of the subjects participating in construction investment activities.

Concluding the meeting, the Chairman of the appraisal Council requested the drafting agency to fully absorb the opinions of the members of the Review Council, continue to quickly control the contents to ensure that the scope of the Law does not exceed other laws and specify the content of regional retaliation; Quickly control the most guaranteed contents in the system of provisions of the Law and other laws. so that the draft Law on Construction (replacement) ensures sufficient conditions for government
