On August 6, 2020, the Award Council “Quality of Construction Design 2020” (VECAS AWARD 2020) of the Vietnam Engineering Consultant Association (VECAS), held a meeting to evaluate the competitions, chaired by Council Chairman, Architect Nguyen Tan Van, Chairman of Vietnam Association of Architects, former President of VECAS. Members joining the Council included Architect Tran Ngoc Chinh, Chairman of Vietnam Association for Urban Planning and Development, Dr. Pham Minh Ha, Director of State Authority for Construction Quality Inspection; President and Vice Presidents of VECAS, Leaders of VECAS members.

The Council had come to an agreement on the working regulations, reviewed the executive report made by the professional supporting Team, proposing the Construction Design Works that met the criteria under the “Regulations on the construction design quality award for the year 2020” issued by VECAS.

VECAS AWARD 2020 is the Award to be held for the second time after the success of VECAS AWARD 2018, with support from the State Authority for Construction Quality Inspection. The winning Works will be announced, awarded at the Event of the Congress term VI (2020 – 2025), being scheduled to be held in October 2020 in Hanoi.
