On December 12, 2024 in Hanoi, the Standing Board and Standing Committee of Vietnam Engineering Consultant Association met to evaluate the results of activities in 2024, agree on the action plan for 2025 and give opinions on the proposals and recommendations of the Standing Committee of the Association.

At the Standing Board of the Association, the President and Vice Presidents of the VECAS focused on discussing the achievements and remaining issues that need attention; Discussing the main activities in 2025 to meet the requirements of improving construction consultancy capacity, especially in the field of digital transformation, applying new advances in science and technology, and membership activities.

The Association’s Standing Committee Meeting enthusiastically discussed the VECAS’s activities. The Standing Committee members highly appreciated the activities in 2024 such as contributing to the development of legal policies, admitting new collective members, organizing FIDIC contract courses, BIM courses, timely dissemination of new laws on bidding, and granting certificates of practice in construction activities… The Association continues to promote its strengths in international cooperation, with its position as the only National Member Association in Vietnam of prestigious international organizations such as FIDIC, the Federation of ASEAN Consulting Engineers (FACE) and its position as a social-professional organization that brings together many large-scale member units, making important contributions to building a developed economy in all fields of construction consultancy and having many experts with extensive experience in construction. In addition, the Standing Committee Meeting also stated the need to continue reviewing and perfecting the regulations on membership management and activities of the regional representative Board. The Standing Committee meeting passed the Resolution with high consensus of the attending delegates.
