On August 15, the Vietnam Engineering Consultant Association in collaboration with the Institute of Construction Science and Technology (IBST) held a seminar to collect opinions on the Draft Amendment 1:QCVN 06:2023/BXD amending QCVN 06:2022 /BXD National Technical Regulation on fire safety for houses and buildings. The seminar was held in the form of face-to-face and online with nearly 280 participants, mainly from construction consulting firms. Dr. Vu Ngoc Anh, Director of the Department of Science, Technology and Environment, Ministry of Construction attended and spoke at the seminar.
After a rather detailed and clear presentation of the contents of the Draft by Dr. Cao Duy Khoi – Deputy Director of IBST, President of the Vietnam Engineering Consultant Association Nguyen Thi Duyen moderated the Q&A session of the participants. Many opinions expressed directly in the meeting room and through online form were openly discussed and explained by Dr. Cao Duy Khoi.
In general, many delegates highly appreciated that the drafting agency had received many opinions from organizations and individuals, expressed in the contents included in Amendment 1 to continue collecting comments. In addition, some comments suggested reviewing regulations on the application of foreign standards and local standards, clarifying a number of other contents that need to be removed; methods of building and promulgating standards…
End of the seminar, Dr. Nguyen Hong Hai, Director of the Institute of Construction Science and Technology gave a speech to thank the contributions of the delegates, the Institute will absorb and consider each idea in detail for improvement.
After the seminar, the Vietnam Engineering Consultant Association will summarize and send it to the Ministry of Construction for consideration and decision.
