On the morning of July 22, 2026, the Vietnam Engineering Consultant Association (VECAS), in coordination with the State Authority For Construction Quality Inspection – Ministry of Construction, organized a dissemination of Government Decree 207/2026/ND-CP detailing some provisions of the 2025 Construction Law on Quality Management, Construction Execution, and Maintenance of Construction Works. The conference was held online with nearly 900 participants from member firms and other organizations and individuals nationwide. The conference was chaired by the Association’s President, Ms. Nguyen Thi Duyen.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Son, Deputy Director of the State Authority For Construction Quality Inspection – Ministry of Construction, directly presented the content of the Decree, answered questions, and clarified issues raised by the delegates.

According to Mr. Son, Decree 207/2026 was developed with the goal of institutionalizing the Party’s guidelines and policies, and the State’s laws; Specifically, this document clarifies the provisions of the Construction Law No. 135/2025/QH15; inherits Decree No. 06/2021/ND-CP; amends it to conform with the Construction Law No. 135/2025/QH15; amends and supplements provisions that are still inadequate or problematic in practice; continues to promote administrative procedure reform, improve the business environment, and create favorable conditions for citizens and businesses; strengthens decentralization and delegation of power in state management; encourages the development of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation; and ensures the consistency and uniformity of the legal system.

Concluding the conference, the President of the VECAS  stated that VECAS had actively participated and contributed many constructive opinions to the draft Decrees guiding the implementation of the 2025 Construction Law, and many of these contents had been acknowledged by the drafting agency, the Ministry of Construction, and the appraisal agency, the Ministry of Justice, during the drafting and finalization process of the Decrees.
