The webinar on Continual Professional Development (CPD) in the field of architecture taking place on June 17 and 18, 2021 organized by the Vietnam Engineering Consultant Association (VECAS)  has brought a lot of useful knowledge about law, expertise, and practical experience for architects attending the Workshop. The seminar was organized to meet the needs of updating knowledge, accumulating CPD points annually and serving to prepare documents for renewal of architectural practice certificates according to the Law on Architecture, Decree No. 85/2020/ND-CP detailing a number of articles of the Law on Architecture.

With the participation of 177 Architects practicing throughout the country, the seminar was held in an online form (on the Zoom Webinar platform) but the interaction between the Organizing, Lecturers and Architects was carried out, smooth and clear images, stable due to quality online conferencing equipment, dedicated, preeminent features. At the seminar, many pictures and short videos about new architectural Works in the world were shown additionally in accordance with each main theme, adding to the attractiveness and comfort of the webinar program. The attending Architects felt comfortable due to the rich, useful and practical content.

The main contents of the seminar include: Dissemination and updating of Architectural Law contents; practical experience of author supervision of practicing architects (presented by Architect Tran Binh Trong – Chairman of Vietnam Construction Design and Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company (CDC)); CPD Regulations in the Philippines (presented by Dr. Tu Duc Hoa – Vice President of VECAS); Building Information Modeling (BIM) and application of architectural mass dissection, completed on BIM platform (presented by Eng. Luong Thanh Hung – Deputy General Director of CIC Technology and Consulting Joint Stock Company). Presentations and exchange of experiences in the workshop

Association President Nguyen Thi Duyen gave the opening speech and answered and shared information about architectural practice with the lecturers at the Workshop.
